- Found family, non-traditional families
- Polyamory and complicated webs of romantic relationships. romance and fluff in general
- Hurt/comfort, with emphasis on the comfort
- Enemies to awkward friends/family
- Enemies to annoyances to awkwardness to lovers
- There Was Only One Bed
- Forced proximity, e.g. being snowed in, handcuffed together, magically linked together, kidnapped together
- Mutual pining
- Touch-starved characters finally getting touches!! including platonic
- Platonic touching, cuddling, sleeping in a pile like puppies, etc
- Accidental bodyswap (especially if the two characters don't like each other yet!)
- Character A kissing or caressing Character B's scars
- Forehead and top-of-the-head kisses
- Bisexual characters dating each other and still being bisexual (including M/F relationships)
- Trans characters dating each other
- Modern AUs with historical/fantasy canons that keep the magic (e.g. Dragon Age elves and mages in present time)
- Permanent death (including animals), grief, mourning. (Ghosts are fine.)
- Real-world politics, bigotry or 'current events'
- Cheating, significant jealousy, characters judging or rejecting polyamory
- Heavy angst or sad endings (Hurt/comfort with hopeful ending is good.)
- Suicidal thoughts, attempts, etc
- Self-harm involving cutting, especially wrists (Cutting for blood magic purposes is fine, but don't make it explicit please.)
- No-magic AUs for magical canons. (You can still write a coffee shop AU if you'd like, just make it magical coffee shop.)
- Major gore, heavy violence
- Detailed pregnancy with any gender (offscreen pregnancy, finding out you're pregnant and children existing are fine. just don't go into the bodily changes beyond some morning sickness)
